IGX-560 - Industrial IoT Gateway Raspberry Pi compatible

The IGX-560 Series is an industry-standard, Raspberry Pi compatible LTE IoT Gateway family of computers for versatile communications, cloud connectivity and edge computing applications in the industrial environment. The Raspberry Pi compatibility allows the quick and cost-effective implementation of the connection of devices, machines, systems and vehicles to the Internet. There are several product variants available, customized versions are possible.



Industrial compatible system with a rich set of industrial interfaces
The 1.2 GHz QuadCore A53 system is equipped with 1GB RAM and 4GB eMMC. Optionally, the IGX-560 system is available with up to 32GB of onboard flash memory. The IGX-560 Embedded Computer offers an integrated LTE / 4G module with external antenna connection for wireless internet connection as well as optionally an integrated WiFi module and furthermore an integrated Bluetooth module according to BTLE standard e.g. for coupling sensors. Furthermore, the IGX-560 family supports a 10/100 Mbit Ethernet interface, up to 2 CAN bus interfaces in the 2.0A and 2.0 standards, two 480Mbps USB host interfaces, RS485, RS232, 1-Wire , I2C interfaces. Isolated digital inputs and digital outputs are also available.



Fully Raspberri Pi compatible software platform
The IGX-560 system does support the Debian 9 / Stretch based Raspbian headless operating system. The training period is very short, applications can be realized quickly, easily and inexpensively.

Power supply with wide range input and intelligent control
The power supply can be done with DC voltages between 9 and 40 volts. The supply input is protected against reverse polarity and protected against overvoltages. Optionally, an external control of the switch-on and switch-off process is available. Switching on and off takes place via a status input. The shutdown process is automatically controlled by software, so that a safe and controlled shutdown of the computer is guaranteed.

Operational safety
The IGX-560 Embedded Computer has low power consumption, operation is fanless. The reliability of the software system is optimally supported by the integrated hardware watchdog for a 24/7 operation.

Action button
The ActionButton is a small hidden built-in button that allows starting a user-specific program. In this way, desired actions, such as the setting of default network settings, can be carried out in a simple manner on site.

With the option PowerControl, the plug for the power supply has a three-pole design. Two poles remain unchanged for the power supply of the device. The third pole is a status line which is e.g. can be connected directly to the ignition terminal, the terminal 15. The device switches on only when the ignition is switched on. If the ignition is switched off, this is signaled to the operating system, which in turn signals the switch-off request to the application. The application can then perform all necessary work, such as closing files, terminating programs and services etc., and then, if necessary, shut down the operating system and shut down the computer.

Extended operating temperature

With the "Extended operating temperature" option, the IGX-560 can be operated in the following temperature ranges.

-20 ° C .. + 60 ° C (non-condensing) Operation without restrictions
-20 ° C .. + 70 ° C (non-condensing) Restricted Operation

Restricted operation reduces the system clock frequency dependent of the the respective work load.


The Bracket option is used to easily mount the Embedded Computer on level mounting surfaces. This ensures a stable and easy mounting of the IGX-560.

Bracket with rubber buffer

If a fixed mounting of the IGX-560 Embedded Computer is not possible due to vibrations and impacts, the holder is available with integrated rubber buffers. This can reliably shield vibrations and impacts from the device.

DINrail holder horizontal

The horizontal DINrail holder allows the IGX-560 Embedded Computer to be attached to a standard DINrail. The horizontal mounting variant is selected if the available space is limited to the front.
