DX-2400 product line
The DX-2400 series is a high-performance, industrial-grade embedded computer product family for mounting on the standard DINrail, for example in control cabinets, machines and systems. The DX-2400 Embedded Computer can be used for a variety of tasks in M2M communication, IoT connectivity, automation, control, measurement and monitoring. Various product variants are available, customer-specific designs are possible.
Industrial interface equipment
The DX-2400 system supports two independent 10/100 Mbit Ethernet interfaces, two CAN bus interfaces in the standards 2.0A and 2.0, two 480MBit/s USB host interfaces, RS422, RS485 and RS232 interfaces. The 400 MHz ARM system is equipped with 256 MB of internal flash memory and 128 MB of DDR RAM. A microSD card slot as a removable mass storage is available.
Modern and open Linux system
The DX-2400 system comes with a modern, ready-to-run kernel 4 based Linux system. There are two Linux distributions available. A Debian system as well as a compact buildroot-based system. Both systems can be selected on the fly. The open Linux system is freely programmable and configurable. The processing time is very short, applications can be realized quickly, simply and cost-effectively. CANopen and Modbus libraries are available for industrial use.
Power supply with wide range input
The power supply can be supplied with DC voltages between 8 and 40 volts. The supply input is reverse polarity protected and protected against overvoltages. The DX-2400 Embedded Computer can be connected directly to the 24V cabinet supply.
Maximum operational safety
Due to the very low power consumption of 1.5 watts, almost no heat is produced in the device. The DX-2400 Embedded Computer is designed for 24/7 operation. The integrated hardware watchdog also allows optimal protection of the software availability.
ActionButton
The ActionButton is a small concealed button that allows you to start a user-specific program. Thus, desired actions can be carried out in a simple manner locally.

Extended operating temperature
With the "Extended operating temperature" option, the DX-2400 can be operated in the following temperature ranges.-30°C .. +80°C (non-condensing) Operation without restrictions
-40°C .. +85°C (non-condensing) Restricted operation
Restricted operation affects the integrated 4G module. Restricted operation allows the module to operate normally, but it may be possible that 3GPP specifications are not fully respected with respect to the receiver's sensitivity.
