On mobile crushers, the machine data should be made available to the operator in real time during operation. In addition, it should be possible for the operator to adjust the machine during operation.
A tablet with the appropriate app is used as the control unit. The connection to the Axotec IoT Gateway is made via WLAN. For this, the WLAN module of the IPX-860 is operated as an access point. The connection between tablet and IoT gateway can be established easily and securely at any time using a standardized procedure. The IP67 protection class of the IPX-860 system allows problem-free use in the harsh environmental conditions of the crusher.
The machine data is accessed via the CAN interface of the machine control. Depending on the system, two Modbus interfaces for sensors are also available if required. The data is transmitted in a processed form to the app on the tablet. Machine information such as transport speeds, performance information and error messages such as warnings are available to the operator in real time.
Depending on the version, a LAN camera is connected via the LAN interface. This enables the operator to observe otherwise invisible points and to recognize faults, transport problems of the bulk goods and possible dangers. The integrated 4G module will be used in a second stage. This means that the operating data of the crusher can be transferred to an online portal at the same time and is then available worldwide in real time.
