Development system and starter kits

To ensure a quick and easy implementation of user specific hard- and software Axotec Technologies offers Starter Kits for their embedded servers and SBC products. The starter kit comes with all hard- and software components* needed for starting hard- and software development with a Axotec embedded computers.

The software development is done on a standard PC compatible host computer with Linux installed on it. There are no general restrictions for using whatever Linux distribution. The host computer is connected to the target with a serial cable and a network cable. All data transfers are done via fast ethernet connection. The development system comes with a gcc cross compiler toolchain and with all sources for linux kernel, utilities and drivers. The creation of userspecific kernel configuration as well as RAM/Flashdisk configuration is supported by comfortable tools. Download of kernel and flash images and flash programming is also fully supported.
