Spider-III CX-325 / RS485/RS422-GSM/GPRS

Overview

The Spider-III CX-325 models are equipped with an integrated, state-of-the-art quadband GSM/GPRS modem. Spider-III CX-325 allows reading and writing data, controlling and supervising of remote devices and plants with RS485 interfaces via an internet connection. The 10/100 Mbit ethernet interface supports the integration of Spider-III CX-325 into a local network. External expansions like additional serial interfaces, WIFI dongle, HMI interface, cardreaders etc. can be attached to the USB host interface. Even bigger data and program volumes can be stored on the nonvolatile, writable and exchangable SD/MMC card. The freely programmable and configurable Linux system supports a multitude of protocols and services für the data exchange over the internet. Examples are HTTP for embedded webserver applications, FTP for file transfer, PPPD, TCP socket, DNS, SSH and many others. The device comes with a ready for run pppd daemon. Only the provider data have to be added to establish a internet connection via GPRS. Optionally available digital inputs can aquire status signals. Actuators, relais, beepers, signal lamps etc. can be switched by digital outputs. Actuators like signallers, relais etc. are program-controlled switchable. Analogue inputs are optionally available.
