Spider-III IX-255 / MBus - Ethernet

Overview

Spider-III IX-255 is equipped with connectors like RS485, RS422, RS232, Ethernet oder USB as well as a polarity insensitive M-Bus (Meter Bus) master interface. Hereby the direct connection and remote reading of heatmeters, all other types of consumption meters as well as various sensors and actuators is possible. The powerful Linux platform reduces software efforts for coupling with USB or ethernet to a minimum.

The RS-422 / RS-485 interface complies with the industrial standards and allows the bus operation with a wide range of RS-422 / RS-485 devices with multiple protocols. The RS-422 / RS-485 interface can be used as two- or four-wire interface. The flow direction on RS-485 multidrop mode can be chosen automatically or by control lines (available at option). The presetting of a bus termination is also available at option.
