RS232-Ethernet / RS232 - Ethernet

Overview

Spider-III IX-200 is an industrial and ultracompact Linux computer with extreme low power consumption (< 1W*), equipped with an extensive set of standard interfaces. Typical applications - beside many others - are RS232 to ethernet bridges. The user has a high degree of flexibility thanks to the full programmable and configurable Linux operating system. The powerful Linux system enables the easy and inexpensive implementation even of complex and demanding applications. The versatile interface equipment enables fast and flexible attachment to a wide range of peripherials and storage devices.

Up to 128 MB main memory and up to 16 MB non volatile system flash memory are supported. Spider-III IX-200 is equipped with a 10/100 MBit ethernet interface, three serial RS-232 interfaces (optionally up to five available) as well as one USB host and one USB client. The power input is a wide range direct current voltage input. A SD/MMC card slot for industrial standard memory cards can be used for nonvolatile, writable storage of even bigger volumes of data and programs**.
